CATRA-Thon is CATRA's annual main fundraising event.  Participants collect pledges to benefit CATRA.  The event consists of walking, riding a horse, or propelling a wheeled vehicle for a distance appropriate to one's ability, from 1 mile to up to 6 miles.  Wheeling may include wheelchairs, bicycles, tricycles, or wagons.  No skateboards, skates, or motorized vehicles are permitted (except for electric wheelchairs.)

CATRA riders will take a trail ride or a controlled walk around the farm, depending on the ability of the rider.  CATRA horses will be available only to CATRA riding students who have collected pledges.  Distance of the ride will be at the discretion of the riding instructor.

Anyone may participate in all the other activities, including a silent auction, face painting, bake sale, craft table, wishing well, and lots of food, including our delicious chicken barbecue.  Funds collected will help defray CATRA's operating expenses and further the development of therapeutic riding.

Chicken barbecue tickets, which must be ordered in advance, may be reserved by calling 469-7517 no later than 3 days before the event.
